About.

Adventure gives one perspective and the knowledge that results from those experiences is infinite. Explore the world and what it has to offer in culture, in beauty and humanity for all its sides, might it be hope, failure or outlooks of optimism sprinkled with pessimism. Life is grand if we allow ourselves to sulk in all the hats we've worn of experience and career, so grand that coasting into grounded roots to cultivate all this knowledge is the next chapter, hanging up your hat in the post production editorial in all of the above. What and where can all this adventure find one next?

As a boy I sought to tell stories, found intrigue and beauty in the history of physical structures and relics of the past but most certainly in the stories individual people have to tell. This led to pursuing studies in photojournalism.

Well into my studies I found interest in commercial lighting and honed my skills in the craft of incorporating artificial and ambient light in photography, photographing models, and retail advertisement. I mastered the art of post-production including photoshop, editing and retouching through digital lab and darkroom projects and dabbled in videography and postproduction.

In this I learned perfection sells, but "reality" is not perfect.

My vision is a collection of imagery that illustrates fashion through rustic filters of nostalgia, film noir and moods. Collectively I depict the beauty of tragedy and people in gritty cities struggling to survive disease and aimlessness, and those living alter egos with alternate traditions in apparel.

From this my career segued into antique and estate archiving and sales. A career span of five years in retail management where I explored group and goal-oriented team building and the art of perception. This led me to a career as a personal assistant where I had the flexibility to ghost write for authors while continuing to build an archive of landscape imagery of the cities I’d frequented over the years, photographed in the same passion for noir storytelling that I have been fond of.

This site is a sample compilation of my creative work that spans 15 years of photography and visual, fictional and non-fictional storytelling.
